On February 22, 2014, history was made as Lyrical Opposition hosted and produced its very first event ever: UNDIVIDED. This evening marked the beginning of what would eventually grow into a full-fledged nonprofit organization, dedicated to uniting communities and uplifting artists through positive, socially conscious artistry.

At E3 2013, held in Los Angeles from June 11th to June 13th, Lyrical Opposition had the opportunity to sit down with Ken Ogasawara, the Senior Producer working on the highly anticipated Sonic Lost World.

As one of the major titles being showcased at that year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, Sonic's latest 3D platforming adventure was playable on the show floor for attendees. On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Cross Allan from Lyrical Opposition interviewed the hip-hop band Simian Scribes at their EP release party at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco. Simian Scribes is a live San Francisco-based band that blends various genres like hip-hop, rock, funk, and reggae. They are known for their socially conscious lyrics addressing current events and issues over hard-hitting beats and grooves.
