The Sunday After 2025
The Sunday After, previously called the Lyrical Takeover, is an annual collaboration between Lyrical Assembly and Oak Life Church, where they create space for a unique and inspiring event held at Oakstop in Oakland, California. It is a celebration of music and faith that brings together a diverse community of people to connect, worship, and express themselves through the power of poetry, music, hip-hop and storytelling.

Community Day Fest! 2025
Lyrical Opposition is proud to be part of the 2nd Annual Community Day Fest at Downtown HS on Thursday, April 17th, from 2:30-4:30 PM. The intention of this event is for Downtown High School’s students, families, staff, and community partners to continuously build a positive school culture by creating a space for sense of belonging, providing at hand resources (jobs, groceries, thrift boutique etc), and strengthening their school spirit. There will be BBQ'n, live screen printing, providing outdoor games, and more!

Lyrical Opposition will be a part of the 23rd Annual Artists’ Evening of Sharing. Lyrical Opposition has been a part of this event 4 years in a row. Thank you to Beth Grossman for the continued partnership.

The San Mateo County Office of Arts and Culture and the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce are pleased to present the September Arts & Culture Fest – the best street festival on the Peninsula.
